RTRC Limited has established one of the most advanced fire-safety testing facilities for Vertical Tray Fire Propagation and Smoke Release tests, dedicated to supporting Indian cable manufacturers and strengthening the industry’s global presence.

This state-of-the-art development will significantly enhance the confidence of Indian manufacturers in supplying their products to UL-listed markets.

The test chamber is constructed with concrete blocks with mortar, providing a more realistic simulation of actual fire scenarios, ensuring reliable assessment of cable performance under severe flame exposure.

These facilities are fully compliant with UL 2556, UL 1666/UL 1865 for flame exposure, as well as FT4 / IEEE 1202 test requirements, enabling comprehensive evaluation of flame spread and smoke release characteristics.
